March 27, 2005 05:36 PMweekend updateAwesome weekend report: Grand adventures in rich people land, nice shops, Sacremento Street, general good carousing on Saturday. elly has a quality description of it. After lots of walking, there was some quality downtime with eating and teevee watching. Then I got all angsty, but we made it to Aaron's party at False Profit. It was epic. There's been this thing going on with nightlife lately where none of us seem to know what is going on or where it's happening. I have this secret fear that I'm just getting o l d, but I've been spouting that things just aren't going on in the way they used to. Last night made me feel better. There were people of all ages, not just 21 year olds. There were beats that made my body shake in all the right ways. There were fun new things to be done (Hula Hoops!!), and random nice people showed up to enjoy all of the above. Sometimes, it just feels damn good to dance, you know? After the party, in the breaking light of dawn, James took this wonderful picture of elly & I. I think it's just about the most beauty that I can possibly take in. happiness. Then this morning, happy easter to elly: contented sigh... March 27, 2005 05:58 AMin lovehi. I'm wildly in love with this woman: yoko yogaHi. It is Monday, and I am recovering from a hectic weekend. It is dark and rainy outside, but cozy and nice inside. Things were occasionally stressful with family in town, an overworked elly and some general Oliverness, but the weekend ended perfectly. I feel quite content. Even though Mercury retrograde has started, I'm checking things off of my todo list. elly & I are planning a trip in a few weeks to Europe. (yay free plane tickets!) We'll go to Paris, Brussels, and Germany but for now I can't be much more specific because I don't know! :) Do you live near there? Are there awesome things we should do? Great veggie places to eat? Amazing art to be a part of? Please let me know! Thanks! I'm doing some geek contract work these days. It is fun to juggle. I know that can get old, but for now, it's satisfying to me.
March 20, 2005 10:56 PMMom VisitMy mom came to visit over the weekend. We all went places, bought things, did things, and ate. We even ran into Heidi & Alex in the Macy's bedding department. How odd. Also, there was an attempted carjacking. All was well when we realised it was just James. heh. Please god let me never eat again, for I am sated. Behold the list of dining establishments: Luna Park
March 13, 2005 05:02 PM365mainHi- oof.org moved today. Sorry for the short notice. If any problems, please call my cell asap! March 12, 2005 02:08 PMhome is niceI am doing well. I had a nice day driving around, having fun and running errands with James yesterday. I read the paper in a parked open top jeep (his) with my shoes & socks off, and my feet out of the window. Destinations included: errands, the Presidio, a burning car fire (mmm, smells like the playa!), and the new colo. (yeah, if I host your stuff, it's all going to change tomorrow! yay!) elly & I later had fun eating yummy thai food surrounded by gayboys. There was rambling driving all around town, finding James again for some midnight macaroon crazyness (we jews love the wheat-alergic peoples!). We slept a bunch, got up slowly and puttered, elly making me tasty PB&banannanannannanaaa sandwiches, then a bunch of house cleaning. All followed by fresh squeezed blood orange juice mimosas. I am very happy, and my girlfriend is verrry cute: content.... purrr March 08, 2005 01:41 PMan average dayHi. I live in san francisco. I might or might not be a hipster. I go to rock shows, I wear sportcoats over teeshirts. I might or might not be a hippie. I volunteer delivering pet food to homebound seniors, and belong to an alternative fuel source co-op. I drive a biodiesel car, and enjoy late night aimless rides into the fog with a very cute girl around this city that I love so much (most of the time). This is what I looked like today: March 07, 2005 12:43 PMi love this townyou know what? I'm going to say hello. I'm going to say yes. Today, SF has started by putting out for me. I took my third ride on my fancy new bike, and it was awesome. Ride 1: Home from American Cyclery: 7 Miles
