firefox toysI found a new thing today! (Hi from vieques, by the way). I use Firefox, a Mozilla variant, which I've used since back in the day. It's an awesome browser, you should use it if you don't already. But that's about all of the proselytizing that I will do. This is for existing Firefox users: An annoyance I've always had is that when you open a new URL from a different application (eg: mail client), Firefox opens the URL in the currently focused tab. That kills me. I want it to open in a new tab... obviously! Behold! The Tabbrowser Preferences Firefox Extension. Install it and weep. It has lots of options, but all I really care about is "Load external links in New Tab." Also, this plugin allows you to make all clicked-on-links open in new tabs, not in new browser windows, nor do you have to right click-->open in new tab. yessss. Thank you. Have a nice day. |
