fortuitous morning
I found a silver quarter in my change this morning as I prepared for the laundry. It's a weird little thing to note, but for all of my adult life, I've listened to the sound of quarters clinking and looked at printed dates on quarters, hoping to get one. (quarters were silver from 1932 until 1964. After 1964 copper nickel composition was issued) They're really quite rare.
Also, if you know anything about abandonded buildings in San Francisco, you really, really, really should read this site about the Public Health Service Hospital. It's quite amazing, actually.
UPDATE @ 6pm: I found a silver dime too!!!!!
