mainstream mediaToday was a day that slackers dream about, I think. I got up and took a bike ride in the park, and then got a call to go see the new Cheech & Chong movie, "Nelson & David", uh, I mean "Harold & Kumar" with Sony (cough BMG) friends, two of whom closely resemble tha lead actors. It was a hoot. Lots and lots of silly silly fun.
Afterwards, we went to Beard Papa, which might be the thing to replace my Krispy Kreme obsession, but we'll have to see. Seems like perfect stoner food... hmmm. :) I came home to spend some quality time with elly, including a walk to our favorite coffee shop, where we planned many logistical items with the aid of the Treo calendar. Then, to top off the slacker day, I got a taco, got on the subway, and headed back to Manhattan to see Spiderman 2. It was the perfect summer blockbuster. I loved it. I am satisfied, planning travels, and generally starting to think about what to do about my life in the shorter term. good stuff. |
