elly & yoko moved inYesterday, elly & yoko moved in fully. They may only be here for a week or so, but I'm loving both of their presences. It's so great to get cuddles and give cuddles (to either of them!!!)
Yesterday I went out to Coney Island to see the Mermaid Parade. I got there too late for the parade, but there were many people in fun costumes, and otherwise silly attire. A friend randomly called me while I was on the subway heading out there: "Are you in Coney Island? You're the only person I called!!" I drank the Champagne of bottled beers with them, and wandered the boardwalk, sat on benches, and just generally enjoyed the weather. Later, elly & I wandered into Prospect Park for a Celebrate Brooklyn concert. It was perfect evening weather, and we just stood, and sat, listening to the likes of Cat Power covering Neil Young. Good stuff. Then we went to try out a new spot to eat in Park Slope. It's called "East / West" and they're a veg+fish place, which I sure did like. Outside patio, and funny wanna-be-rockstar-table-neighbors. Then more sleep. Sleep rules. |
